Bee

Welcome to Bees Class

Bees class (Years 3 and 4) is taught by Mrs Anderton (Monday – Wednesday) and Miss Foster (Thursday – Friday). Miss Dodd and Mrs Dalton also support the children’s learning.

In Year 3, our children begin their KS2 journey, growing as individuals and developing more independence as they move through Year 4.  They make connections in their learning, widen their knowledge and broaden their skills, building long-term memory links. Through our exciting and varied curriculum, our children take ownership and pride in their learning, celebrating their successes along the way!

Parents, log in to Class Dojo for all our latest class news and updates, including a roundup of our news each Friday.

Because we have two year groups in each class, we use a 2-year rolling programme of study which means that, over the course of their two years in Bees Class, children will cover all areas of the Year 3 and Year 4 National Curriculum. Here is a copy of our 2-year rolling programme, which has recently been carefully redeveloped in order to make better links between subjects and ensure a broad and balanced curriculum. There are still some areas being worked on, so this document is subject to change.

Here is our timetable for the academic year 2022-23: Bees Class Timetable. PE lessons take place on Wednesdays and Fridays each week, so please make sure your PE kit is in school on these days and remains in school for the half term.

Remember to bring the following items to school each day:

  • water bottle
  • reading book in your book bag
  • coat or waterproof jacket if necessary
