Parents can support in school in a variety of ways: by listening to children read; supervising small groups doing an activity initiated by a teacher; for additional supervision on trips out of school; transporting children to and from local events; or, if a parent has a particular expertise, to share that expertise with small groups of children. We also call on volunteers for help with specific tasks, such as helping with the book fair; we are very grateful for the willingness and generosity of our parent helpers. All adult helpers need to complete a Volunteer registration form and those who help on a regular basis will need to complete a full DBS check, please check with the school office.
